Olá. Meu nome é mike. Sou professora com 35 anos de experiência. Eu também sou um imigrante (da Irlanda). Este site oferecerá oportunidades educacionais gratuitas para famílias de imigrantes na cidade de Framingham (onde resido). As aulas ensinarão as famílias (jovens e idosos, pais e alunos) a aprender inglês como segunda língua.
Espero colocar lições básicas / atividades de aprendizagem online em um futuro próximo. Também espero expandir para oferecer clínicas com professores (voluntários) ao vivo para praticar o inglês ou para responder a perguntas. Tenho visto muitas famílias locais que ficaram em desvantagem devido à pandemia de Covid. Esta é uma forma de apoiar minha comunidade.

Hi. My name is Mike. I am a teacher with 35 years of experience. I am also an immigrant (from Ireland). This site will provide free educational opportunities to immigrant families in the City of Framingham (where I reside). Lessons will teach families (young and old, parents and students) how to learn English as a second language.
I expect to put basic lessons/learning activities online in the near future. I also expect to expand to offer clinics with live (volunteer) teachers to practice using English, or to answer questions. I have seen many local families who have become disadvantaged due to the Covid Pandemic. This is 1 way I can support my community.
